  1. Warm Compresses: Applying warm compresses to your breasts can provide soothing relief and help improve blood circulation. Simply soak a clean cloth in warm water and place it on your breast for about 10-15 minutes before breastfeeding or pumping. The warmth can help reduce inflammation, loosen clogged ducts, and encourage milk flow.

  2. Hot Showers or Warm Baths: Taking a warm shower or soaking in a warm bath can provide relaxation and promote milk flow. Gently bring one hand behind your head and rotate your upper body towards the opposite side, as if you're trying to touch your knee. Hold for a few seconds, then repeat on the other side. This exercise helps release tension in your chest muscles and promotes healthy milk flow.

  • The Pec Press: Sit up tall with your feet flat on the ground. Place your palms together in front of your chest, fingers pointing upwards. Push your hands together firmly for a few seconds, feeling the squeeze in your chest muscles. Release and repeat several times. This exercise can help improve circulation in your breasts and relieve congestion.

  • The Superwoman Stretch: Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Interlace your fingers and extend your arms out in front of you, palms facing outward. Slowly raise your arms up and overhead, reaching for the sky. Feel the stretch in your chest and hold for a few deep breaths. This exercise helps open up your chest, promoting lymphatic drainage and reducing inflammation.
