What Causes the Issue:

Ah, the miraculous journey of pregnancy and childbirth. While it's a beautiful experience, it can take a toll on your body. Hormonal fluctuations, changes in posture, and the strain of carrying your precious bundle can leave behind aches and discomforts that seemingly refuse to fade away. But fear not, for there are ways to address these lingering issues and regain your vibrant self.

Exercises to Do at Home:

  • Pelvic Tilts: Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Gently tilt your pelvis forward, pressing your lower back into the ground. Hold for a few seconds, then release. Repeat 10 times to strengthen your abdominal and pelvic muscles.

  • Wall Push-Ups: Stand facing a wall with your arms extended, palms flat against the wall at shoulder height. Bend your elbows and lean towards the wall, then push back to the starting position. Aim for 2 sets of 10 repetitions to improve upper body strength and posture.

  • Bridges: Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Engage your core, squeeze your glutes, and lift your hips off the ground until your body forms a straight line from knees to shoulders. Hold for a few seconds, then lower down. Repeat 10 times to strengthen your glutes and lower back.

Self-Care Tips at Home:

Rest and Relaxation: As a new mom, it's crucial to prioritize self-care. Take time to rest when you can and engage in activities that promote relaxation, such as reading, meditating, or enjoying a warm bath. Your body and mind need rejuvenation.

Gentle Stretching: Incorporate gentle stretches into your daily routine to ease tension and improve flexibility. Focus on areas like your neck, shoulders, back, and hips. Stretching helps relieve muscle stiffness and enhances overall mobility.

Proper Posture: Maintaining good posture throughout the day can alleviate strain on your muscles and joints. Be mindful of your alignment when sitting, standing, and breastfeeding. Consider using supportive pillows or cushions to maintain a comfortable position.
